"The story of ELC's Giant Garage"

"..one nice january day,when i wasn't at work..my son and me decided to chill out and flip thru' ELC'S autumn/winter catalog..he asked me.."so Umi,what present am i getting for my 4th bday in june..?"..so i said let's look thru the pages and see if there is anything you like..and he pointed out to me,this huge garage..he was smiling and pointing frantically that..'IT IS THAT ONE!'..SO i decided that i will be buying it for his birthday.. he had to be patient till the time comes..well that was the initial plan anyway..until,his NAANI,decided to buy all of us gifts for fun..and very smart of this boy,to ask his grandma to buy him the garage..and of course,he had to win the approval of the grandpa too..pls note that these are exactly the 2 most persistent adults that told me my son has enuff toys to last him forever..especially from ELC..and i should donate half of his toys to charity..and they kept blackmailing me with the words,wasteful...and as muslims we shouldn't indulge over excessively in toys..they don't,however realise that i do not buy junk..i INVEST in quality educational toys like puzzles,games..blocks..and childrens' brains develop at such high speed..they constantly need more challenging toys..one cannot expect a nearly 4 year old to play with 2 year old stuff..and i cannot deny that ELC has amazing toys..my story is..grandparents always spoil their grandchildren..its amazing how these lil' tots have like an invisible grip over em'..haha..which is to my advantge bocoz i saved $128..i'm not complaining though..becoz the garage is AWESOME..REALLY SOLID AND BIG..
and me,the hubby and firdaus have been playing with it since sunday nite..and i'm proud to say,it was me who fixed it up..my son..you are so so fortunate to be blessed with so much love,attention and all that you need since you came into this world..Umi hope some day,you will realise it all and repay your Naani and Tokbah for all that they have given and done for you...thanx mama and abah..tak terbalas jasa dan budi the both of you..I really appreciate everything...love you both always.
