Firdaus..& his mosaic sticker art work..& my doorknob..

..my kiddo decided at 11pm last nite to do some kinda craft..as usual,it had to be when i was having my time out,surfing the net..i told him to give me some time to myself and we'll do it this morning instead..but havin come from me,he is just as adamant when he wants something..its now or never!!..he stormed off to his bed,in my room in tears and cries..i felt guilty,children,they don't understand when the mummy needs time out,they take it as the pc is more important than em'..so i went and cajoled him..there,we started sticking the craft..its a pic of a bird..the child has to use the cut-out shaped stickers to paste and create the complete pic,it looks like mosaic pasting..very good for fine motor skills,shape and color recognition..ok,i'm long winded..can't help it,its the teacher in me talking...when it was done,my son was grinning ear to ear..and i promised myself never to push him away in future like that..all it took was a few minutes of spending time with him,to make him feel so wanted and happy...enjoy the photos..and oh!!!..i added a photo of my newly fixed,beautiful porcelain doorknobs...the one that i kept raving bout in my other blog...
