updates...

..what have i been up to really..well for starters,during the first week of Ramadhan,we brought Firdaus and Umar to watch THOMAS AND FRIENDS LIVE at the Expo..oh! i must say,the boys really did enjoy the larger than life performance..Fir was so thrilled to see Thomas,Percy,Gordon,Diesel,the Fat Controller etc...we sang along to their famous songs..bought him a cool cap..we ended the day by breaking fast at T3..bought him mockasins at Colletee..we had a good time..the weekend before that,i brought the boys again out to watch WALL E at suntec city..Umar was pretty overwhelmed with the cinema's speakers..had to coax him..then he was ok..but amazingly at the Thomas show,he was wide eyed and all...i've been really busy teaching at home..lack of sleep of course..doing all the dumb housework..the monday that just passed,sent my parents off at the airport..off to the holy land to perform the Umrah..again,i felt the sense of deep longing to be there..soon insyallah,this time with the man i'm so in love with and the 2 lil' men i'm so in love with..can you imagine,2 weeks of fasting has come and gone,,just like that..i'm sure by now,lots of wives and moms are going nuts,baking..cleaning the house..well,you know what,i'm so wayyyyyy overrrrr that..because i've always kept the house clean and tidy,i need not do all that..the closest i have done,well..washing the curtains and cleaning the windows...my free time..is dedicated to entertaining my children..especially my Firdaus..next week..i'll get the service of my part time maid to do touch ups..this year,cookies have been ordered..i'm spared the burning of midnite oil to bake..urgh,loathe it!!!..not the baking..the staying up late and cleaning up..i can't afford that for now..with a newborn..i'm too tired..i ordered just 5 types of kuihs..no more over the top cos each year,guests don't really eat the kuihs and i'm left with quite a bit that eventually ends up in the bin..waste of money..any extra $$$,better to enfaq..i'm not really looking forward to Ramadhan ending..wish it would go on for a longer time..not into the EID really..to be honest,i really can't be bothered..but for the sake of silahturahmi..we have to..and my Fir loves to go visiting...whats wrong with me,,hints of being anti-social..i don't know..its the same thing every year anyway..well this year..i'm keeping to just visiting the elderly..coz with a baby,i'm not gonna stay out to late..on a lighter note,i HAVE BEEN TO GEYLANG...hahahaha..so the minah rite..wrong!another place i loathe..but Firdaus has been bugging to see the lights and he loves food..so on monday,after sending my parents off..we went to Geylang..my son was really excited ok..my baby,couldn't care less..amidst the crazy crowd and noise,he was in deep slumber..yesterday,we went food shopping again,at some flat in Tampines selling buka puasa food..really yummy...today,in a while,i've got a student coming..feel like going out for a drive tonite...after tarrawih of course...i badly need a hair trim..i hate it when my hair goes haywire..my abah video called me yesterday during the saudi break of fast..he was at NABAWI...ohhh...memories..i must go there again soon..my days are so routine..and i'm starting to detest it...and i think i got PMS,get it???...bye
