"MY SON IS A CHAMPION.."

Yesterday,wednesday..was my kiddo's sports day,held at an open space in the sengkang area..i woke up extra early..around 6am..to pray subuh..really with all my sincerity,praying for my son to do his best and of course,win the first place..and ALLAH answered my prayers..he won,the whole team won..I WAS SO HAPPY..cheering him on like mad..so noisy..he ran really fast..i'm one proud mama..my son's first sports day..and he won..the funny part was..i could have missed his relay..you see..i had a bugging tummyache when we reached the place..i thought i could ignore it but nooooo,it got worst..so the school prepared a container kinda toilet..i wanted to go except that there were so many parents sitting near it..shy lah,so hubby drove me to the nearest neighbourhood centre to find a toilet..fortunately,by the time we got to the place..events haven't started yet..my son saw us..and waved happily,i know he was kinda worried when we told him,we had to go out for a while..it means a lot for a child to get motivation from especially his loved ones..it boost their morale and confidence..after he won,he came up to me for a hug..i kissed him so many times,telling him how great he was..then he asked me.."UMI,did you clap for me?"..of course i did sweetheart..so loud i was..it was a good morning for us..eventhough the sun was practically piercing thru my skin..there goes my whitening routines..hahaha,we had lunch at SWENSENS after that..the kiddo chose the place,a celebratory lunch for his win..only to have him fall asleep on my lap while waiting for the food to be served..haha..went home,prayed zuhur..and went out to first, cash converters..to sell some unwanted stuff..then to vivocity..Firdaus had a field day..horse bouncing..played at the playground..soaked at the water area..and me?..i had a slow walk window shopping..nothing caught my eye..clothes were so so,except for of course,the countless children clothes boutiques there..which got me bugging the hubby to buy firdaus a LEVIS camo cargo pants..surprisingly,he said ok..woohoooo
..as i sat at the play area..i watched my son splashing about..laughing,smiling..as he got absorbed in happiness..and i told myself..i'm so blessed..to be a wife and mother..one that could afford to stay home at that..having the chance to spend abundance of quality time with my child & hubby..such joy to experience all these..what more could i ask for....ALHAMDULLILAH...
